Oyun, Fransız Konsolosluğu önünde, Selim’in oturduğu bankta geçer. İki nöbetçi kulübesi ve büyük ferforje kapı oyunun dekorudur… Selim, yalnız yaşayan biridir..bunalımdadır.. Acısını -ironik-bir şekilde dile getirirken, toplumsal eleştirinin yanı sıra kendisini ve çevresini eleştirmeyi iş edinir.. Sürekli çalan telefonu açmamak için çatıya çıkan Selim, çatıdan düşer ve bir RÜYA görürüz.. Oyun, bu rüyayı anlatır.. ‘denemeyenler’adlı metin üstündağ kitabından oyunlaştırılmıştır. //

The play takes place on the bench where Selim is sitting, in front of the French Consulate. Two guardhouses and a large wrought iron door are the decoration of the play… Selim is a lonely person. He is depressed. While expressing his pain -ironically-, he makes it his job to criticize himself and his surroundings as well as social criticism. Selim, who goes to the roof to avoid answering the constantly ringing phone, We fall from the roof and see a DREAM. The play tells this dream. The text called ‘Those Who Don’t Try’ is adapted from the book by metin ustundag.
