Inspired by the recent unrest in Turkey, native Orkut explores the events’ emotional impacts introspectively. Thousands of innocent people using their constitutional rights have been subject to spray and tear gas. Some people were badly injured by the police. 9 people lost their lives over a number of protests.

pepper//pilgrim was first performed as part of Manifold at the Kazimier in Liverpool in August 2013.
